GAZA, March 19 (YPA) – Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed and injured in missile and artillery shelling by the occupation forces on various areas of the Gaza Strip as the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression against Palestinians enters its 165th day, Palestine official News Agency Wafa reported on Tusday, citing sources.
According to the sources, the occupation aircraft targeted a house near Al-Matahin Junction, north of the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
The occupation warplanes also targeted another house owned by Alyan family near the Haidar Abdel Shafi roundabout, west of Gaza City, and a house near Al-Mashal Foundation, west of the city, killing and injuring a number of people.
Moreover, the sources added that the occupation aircraft launched raids on the neighborhoods of Al-Rimal, Al-Zaytoun, Al-Daraj and Sheikh Radwan in Gaza City, while the Israeli artillery bombed the east of Bureij camp and the north of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The same sources indicated that 14 civilians were killed following airstrikes that targeted homes and apartments in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The occupation aircraft also targeted an aid warehouse in Jabalia camp, north of Gaza, killing two of its workers.
The sources also pointed out that six citizens were killed after the occupation aircraft targeted the home of Al-Amoudi family in Abu Al-Amin area in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
The occupation artillery also bombed homes in Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin neighborhoods, west of the city.
Additionally, the occupation army continues for the second day in a row to besiege Al-Shifa Hospital in Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, amid hearing the sound of huge explosions resulting from missile and artillery shelling.
The occupation forces continue to prevent ambulances from reaching Al-Rimal neighborhood to retrieve the slain civilians and the injured, the sources added.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip rose to 31,726, most of whom were children and women, while the number of the wounded people rose to 73,792 since the beginning of the Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
