Hezbollah targets Zionist military sites

BEIRUT, March 17 (YPA) –The Lebanese resistance, Hezbollah, announced on Saturday targeting military sites of the Zionist enemy near the southern borders of Lebanon, resulting in ‘direct hits.

These attacks were in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their valiant and honorable resistance.

The resistance reported in separate statements that “the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kfar Shuba with missile weapons and hit it directly.”

Hezbollah confirmed that the Al-Sammaqa site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kafr Shuba was targeted with missile weapons, while the Al-Malikiyah site was hit with mortar shells.

The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance bombed the Ramim barracks with two Burkan missiles, hitting them directly. They also targeted Al-Baghdadi’s site with missile weapons, hitting it directly.

On the other hand, the Lebanese official news agency reported, “The artillery of the Zionist enemy targeted the town of Al-Jabeen (south) with a number of shells, most of which hit residential neighborhoods in the town and caused significant damage (not specified).”

Several border towns in southern Lebanon were also subjected to Israeli shelling, including the outskirts of Hula – Khirbet Balout, Jabal Balata towards Marwahin, and the plain of Marjayoun, according to the same source.

Recently, there have been escalating threats from Israeli officials to expand attacks on Lebanese territory unless Hezbollah fighters withdraw from the borders with the northern occupied territories.
