GAZA, March 16 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Jagan Chapagain, said on Saturday that “the humanitarian situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic.”
According to the European “Euronews” agency, Chapagain confirmed that the growing food crisis is worsening in an extremely dangerous situation, and with the start of Ramadan month, countless people have nothing to break their fast with.
Chapagain pointed out that civilians are facing an unprecedented level of humiliation, misery and suffering in Gaza, and the health situation is on the verge of collapse with hospitals facing desperate conditions.
