Yemeni forces target “Israeli” ships, US destroyer
SANAA, March 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out Friday a new military operation targeting an ‘Israeli’ ship and an American destroyer in the Red Sea, and three other American and Israeli ships in the Indian Ocean.
“In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and as part of the response to the American-British aggression against our country, the Naval Forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty, carried out a targeting operation against the “Israeli” ship “Pacific 01” in the Red Sea with a number of appropriate naval missiles, the spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Sarie said in a statement during the million-man march in Sabaeen Square in the capital Sana’a.
He added, “ Meanwhile, the Drone Air Force conducted a targeting operation against an American destroyer in the Red Sea with several drones, and the operation successfully achieved its goals, by the grace of Allah.”
“In execution of the directives of Sayyid Commander Abdul-Malik Badr El-Din Al-Houthi, may Allah protect him, in support of the suffering Palestinian people facing aggression and siege in the Gaza Strip, and in response to the calls of the Yemeni people and all the free people of the nation: The Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty, have begun to expand their military operations against “Israeli” ships or those associated with “Israel” or heading to the ports of occupied Palestine to include the Indian Ocean via Cape of Good Hope,” The statement read
Therefore, the Yemeni Armed Forces warn all “Israeli” ships or those heading to or coming from the ports of occupied Palestine not to pass through the Cape of Good Hope. Otherwise, they will be a legitimate target for our Armed Forces, according to the statement
Sarie affirmed that in the context of implementing these directives in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty, carried out three operations against three “Israeli” and American ships in the Indian Ocean with a number of appropriate naval missiles and drones, and the three operations successfully achieved their goals.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that they will not stop preventing “Israeli” navigation or heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red and Arabian Seas, as well as the Indian Ocean, until the aggression stops and the siege on our fighting brothers in the Gaza Strip is lifted, the brigadier general stressed.
