Pro-coalition commander survives assassination attempt in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, March 10 (YPA) – A pro-coalition brigade commander survived on Sunday an assassination attempt in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter said that the four explosive devices on the Al-Abr Road were used in the process.

The sources explained that nameless persons planted four explosive devices on both sides of the road, two of which were exploded.

They indicated that the explosive devices were detonated remotely without knowing who was behind the assassination attempt, amid accusations against the UAE-funded armed factions.

The assassination attempt on Moazib came after he attended a military parade by the factions he leads within the leadership of the Islah Party-run First Military Region in the districts of Wadi and Hadramout desert.
