Gunman killed, seven wounded in Abyan confrontations

ABYAN, March 10 (YPA) – About a gunman was killed and seven others were wounded on Sunday in armed clashes that took place in Abyan province, south of Yemen.

Local sources in the province said the clashes broke out between militants from the tribes of Baqtian and Al-Shajar in the middle of a popular market in the Mudiya district.

The sources added that the confrontations between tribal militants sparked a state of panic among citizens.
