Hamas reveals Zionist efforts to build 3,500 settlement units south of Al-Quds

GAZA, March 07 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, affirmed that the approval by the Zionist enemy authorities today, Wednesday, to build around 3,500 new settlement units confirms the Zionist plan to prevent the possibility of establishing the Palestinian state with its capital, Al-Quds.

“Today’s announcement by the Zionist occupation authorities to approve the construction of about 3,500 new settlement units, in settlements established on our occupied lands south of the city of Al-Quds, is a confirmation of the Zionist plan aimed at controlling our land, restricting our people, and isolating them with a network of settlements spread throughout all our occupied lands, to prevent the possibility of establishing the Palestinian state with its capital, Al-Quds,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.

“We affirm that this false declaration has no legitimate or legal basis, and is nothing but a message of defiance and contempt from the Zionist government headed by war criminals and fascist terrorists to the international community, which is content with condemning without taking deterrent steps against the entity, which daily perpetrates the crime of ethnic cleansing against our people throughout our occupied land,” the statement read.

Hamas demanded the United Nations and relevant parties to take punitive steps against this criminal entity and its Nazi leaders, warning against remaining silent about their violations that increase tension and escalation in the region.
