Report: Yemen Army wages military operations on Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, July 12 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military attacks, including missile, artillery and sniping attacks, to repelled Saudi troops infiltration attempts at several front lines over the past 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

• In Yemen’s western coast:
Toshka ballistic missile was fired toward gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen.
A short-range ballistic missile targeted gatherings of militiamen.
Two military vehicle of the militiamen were destroyed in Faza.

• In Saudi border province:
Artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in front of Khadhra crossing.
A Saudi soldier was shot dead in Shorfa site.

• In border province of Jizan:
Katyusha rockets targeted a Saudi camp beyond Aqaba mounts.
Dozens of militiamen were shot dead when the army waged an offensive on military site in front of Dukhan mount, seizing several weapons.
Two militiamen were sniped in front of Jabiri site.
Eight militiamen and Saudi soldiers were shot dead in the east of Dood site.
Six militiamen were killed in several sites in front of Khubah and Dhukhan mount.
Katyusha rockets and artillery shells were fired at gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen in front of MBC mount.
A Saudi soldier was sniped in Bajel site.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen in Madrasah village.
• In Yemen’s Jawf province:
The army repelled an infiltration attempt of militiamen in Atfain areao of Ajasher front, killing and wounding dozens.
Two military vehicles were destroyed by explosive devices, killing all who were on boards, including leaders, during repelling their infiltration in Ajasher.
A military vehicle was destroyed in the east of Sabrain area of Khub-washaaf district.
• In Taiz province:
Artillery force of the army targeted gatherings of militiamen and their military vehicles in Arish and Waza’yah junction, killing, wounding dozens and destroying several vehicles.
Dozens of militiamen were killed and injured in an ambush with two explosive devices in Hanaya front in Waza’yah.

• In Lahj province:
The army repelled an infiltration attempt of militiamen, supported by two airstrikes, in Sharija and Sahi areas of Karsh district.
The militiamen were inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment during repelling their infiltration in Karsh, restoring one of the hills by an attack of the army.
• In Dhalea province:
Three militiamen were shot dead in Yabar mount in Khashaba.
• In Hajjah province:
A military vehicle was destroyed by an explosive device in the west of Nar mount of Haradh district.
• In Nehm district:
The army carried out an offensive on several hills of militiamen in Yam front, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment.
The army restored several hills in the west of Qateb after launching a large-scale offensive, accompanied with artillery shelling on the gatherings and reinforcements of the militiamen, causing heavy losses casualties.
