WORLD, March 06 (YPA) – The American magazine “The Atlantic” reported that the leader of the “Houthi” movement in Yemen, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, “may be the most popular public figure in the Middle East” since Yemeni armed forces began attacking Israeli ships heading to the occupation ports, in defense of Gaza and the Palestinian people.
It stated that “Al-Houthi is likened and treated like the modern-day Che Guevara, and his images and speeches have been shared on social media across the five continents.”
Moreover, the operations of the Yemeni armed forces have made the Ansarullah (Referred to as the “Houthis”) “heroes for Arab and Muslim youth who embrace the Palestinian cause as their own, to the extent that they have achieved successes among Western progressives”.
It noted that the American-British aggression has not deterred the Yemeni armed forces from their operations.
