Int’l delegations arrive in Cairo to discuss ceasefire in Gaza

CAIRO, March 03 (YPA) – A delegation both Hamas, Qatar and the United States arrived on Sunday in Egypt to resume peace talks about the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

A source familiar with the matter in Hamas affirmed that the truce agreement in Gaza could take place within “24 to 48 hours”, in case the Zionist organization agreed to the Palestinian demands.
“Today a round of negotiations begins in Cairo, and if Israel responds, the way will be paved for an agreement within the next twenty-four or forty-eight hours,” the source said.

Earlier, a senior Egyptian source said that Cairo is making unremitting efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza before the month of Ramadan.

The 149-day old Israeli aggression on Gaza have been leaving more than 30,000 martyrs, while international mediators race against time to reach a ceasefire before Ramadan, amid a famine that has become a reality.
