 Civilian killed, bridge destroyed in Saudi-led air strikes on Lahj

LAHJ, July 11 (YPA) – A truck driver was killed and another citizen was injured on Wednesday when Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched three air strikes on Lahij province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that the two trucks were parked at Monday market in the province, when the coalition air strikes hit the trucks, killing one civilian and injuring another, in addition to causing huge destruction to the citizens’ properties.

In the same context, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes also destroyed a bridge by an airstrike in Ayrim area of al-Qbaita district.

On the other hand, The Yemeni army and popular committees are making major advances in Lahj front, which is witnessing a major retreat of the Saudi-backed militants on the same front.

The local authorities called on the coalition States to open new hospitals in order to receive the wounded militias belonging to the coalition forces because of the public and private hospitals in the province are not enough and do not have the capacity.
