SANAA, Feb. 21 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in the Caretaker Government in Sanaa, Hussein Al-Ezzi, revealed the number of ships that have crossed the Bab al-Mandeb, both inbound and outbound, since mid-January.
In a post on his X account, Al-Ezzi stated, “From January 16 to February 18, the total number of ships safely traversing the Bab al-Mandeb from both directions reached 2,350, thanks to smooth coordination with the Yemeni Navy and the Humanitarian Center in Sanaa.”

He emphasized, “Yemen is deeply committed to ensuring the safety of navigation, and thus, resorting to force is unnecessary. Any party attempting force against us will undoubtedly meet failure.”
