44 Palestinians killed by Israeli airstrikes on central Gaza Strip

GAZA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The number of martyrs from the Israeli enemy’s shelling of civilians’ homes in the central Gaza Strip has jumped to 44 martyrs, and the injuries to 80, Palestinian sources on Sunday.

According to the sources, a series of Zionist airstrikes targeted around 10 homes in the areas of Al-Zawaida, Deir al-Balah, and the central Gaza Strip, in addition to dozens are still under the rubble.

The enemy’s warplanes also launched an airstrike on Al-Sika Street in the city of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip and another in the eastern neighborhood of Al-Zaytoun in Gaza City.

In a preliminary toll, the number of martyrs jumped to 28,858, the majority of them women and children, and the wounded to 68,677, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7.
