STC faction leader’s son killed in bomb attack in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 16 (YPA) – A son of a faction leader in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) was killed on Friday by the explosion of an explosive device in Dar Saad in Aden, southern Yemen.

Local sources reported that the son of the head of the security department in the STC, Ahmed Hassan Al-Marhabi, was killed by an explosive device planted in his car in Dar Saad district.

The sources indicated that the explosion also injured a number of citizens.
The city of Aden, which is under the control of the UAE-backed STC, is witnessing major security chaos, with continuous assassinations and bombings.
