Iraqi Parliament demands that foreign forces be removed from country

BAGHDAD, Feb. 11 (YPA) – The Iraqi Parliament has called on the government to remove foreign forces from Iraq, expressing strong condemnation of American aggression against Iraqi forces.

Acting Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, said in a statement on Saturday: “The Parliament calls on the government to implement the decision related to the removal of foreign forces and to end their duties in the country based on the development of Iraqi security capabilities, and the absence of any new agreement with foreign forces requires their stay.”

Three Iraqis were killed, including a leader in the Popular Mobilization Forces, three days ago as a result of an attack carried out by an American drone on a car in the Al-Mashtal area, northeast of Baghdad.
