Palestinian Prisoners’ Club: The number of prisoner martyrs has risen to 245

RAMALLAH, Feb. 10 (YPA) – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced on Saturday that the number of martyrs among the prisoners has increased to 245 since 1967, after the death of the prisoner Muhammad al-Sabar from Hebron.

The Prisoners’ Club confirmed in a press statement on Saturday that the Zionist enemy is holding the bodies of 19 martyred prisoners.

The statement pointed out that these numbers are added to “a group of Gaza detainees whose martyrdom in the Sde Teman camp was revealed by the enemy media and whose identity was not revealed.”

The enemy confessed to executing one of the detainees, and it is likely that there are other Gaza detainees who were martyred as a result of torture and field executions, according to the club.

The club revealed the names of the prisoner martyrs whose bodies are being held, and they are:

1- Prisoner martyr Anis Dawla, whose body has been held since 1980.

2- Prisoner martyr Aziz Owaisat, whose body has been held since 2018.

3- Prisoner martyr Fares Baroud, whose body has been held since 2019.

4- Prisoner martyr Nassar Taqatqa, whose body has been held since 2019.

5- Prisoner martyr Bassam Al-Sayeh, whose body has been held since 2019.

6- Prisoner martyr Saadi Al-Gharabli, whose body has been held since 2020.

7- Prisoner martyr Kamal Abu Waar, whose body has been held since 2020.

8- Prisoner martyr Sami Al-Amour, whose body has been held since 2021.

9- Prisoner martyr Daoud Al-Zubaidi, whose body has been held since May 2022.

10- Prisoner martyr Nasser Abu Hamid, whose body has been held since December 20, 2022.

11- Prisoner martyr Khader Adnan, who died in May 2023, after a hunger strike that lasted for 86 days.

12- Prisoner martyr Omar Daraghmeh, whose body has been held since October 23, 2023.

13- Prisoner martyr Arafat Hamdan, whose body has been held since October 24, 2023.

15- Prisoner martyr Abdel Rahman Marei, whose body has been held since 11/13/2023.

16- Prisoner martyr Thaer Abu Assab, whose body has been held since 11/18/2023.

17- A martyr whose identity was not known. He was a worker in Gaza, according to what the Israeli occupation announced. He was martyred in “Anatot” camp.

18- The martyr Abdul Rahman Al-Bahsh, his body has been held since 1/1/2024.

19- The martyr Muhammad Al-Sabbar, who martyred on February 8, 2024.
