GAZA, Feb. 07 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy army admitted on Tuesday the killing of an officer with the rank of major during battles with the Palestinian resistance in northern Gaza.
The army announced in a statement that “the officer killed in the Gaza Strip was the deputy commander of the 601st Battalion.”
The statement added: “A soldier from the Engineering Battalion was killed last Saturday in a battle in the southern Strip.”
The enemy army affirmed that Shimon Yehoshua Asulin, 24 years old, was a fighter in the 924 Engineering Battalion, 10th ‘Harel’ Brigade, was killed in the Strip.
The total number of the killed Zionist enemy army since the seventh of last October has risen to 563, according to the Zionist enemy’s statement, which was denied by the Palestinian resistance, which confirmed that the number of the killed soldiers is much more than that.
