Report: Yemen Army carries out ground attacks against Saudi forces over 24 hours
SANAA, July 11 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks to frustrate US-backed Saudi-led coalition militiamen and soldiers’ infiltration on several battle fronts over the past 24 hours , according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
• In Yemen’s western coast:
A short-range ballistic missile was fired toward supply stores of coalition forces.
Six of Saudi-backed militiamen were shot dead in the south of Duraihimi district.
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle of militiamen with an explosive device in Tuhaita district, killing and wounding all who were on board.
• In Asir border province:
A Saudi soldier was sniped in Qalat-Hassn of Raboaa city.
Gathering of Saudi soldiers were targeted by artillery shells in Raqabt-Thia of Raboaa.
Two Saudi soldiers were shot dead in Majaza.
• In the border province of Jizan:
A ballistic missile, Bader-1, targeted Jazan Economic City.
A Saudi soldier was gunned down in front of Khubah.
• In Najran Saudi border province:
An offensive was waged on militiamen’s sites in Khadhraa border crossing, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of militiamen in Khadhraa border crossing.
• In Bayda province:
The army carried out an offensive on sites of the enemy in Zahir district, killing and wounding dozens.
An attack was waged on militiamen’s sites in Thi-Na’em, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment.
Dozens of the militiamen were killed and injured in an offensive on their sites in Taiab area of Thi-Na’em.
The army repelled an infiltration attempt of militiamen in Aswah area, killing and wounding dozens of them.
• In Nehm district:
An offensive was carried out on sites of the militiamen in Yam, killing and wounding dozens in their ranks.
The army launched an attack, accompanied by artillery shelling and combing of medium weapons, on militiamen sites in Madfoon, killing and wounding many.
• In Taiz province:
Dozens of militiamen were killed and injured when the army repelled their infiltration, which was supported with coalition airstrikes, in Selw district.
• In Yemen’s Jawf province:
The army repelled militiamen infiltration in Mahamisha area of Khub-washaaf district, killing and wounding dozens.
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a militiamen’s military vehicle with an explosive device, killing and injuring all its crew.
Three Saudi-backed militiamen were shot dead in Maslub.
