Yemeni Parliament calls on world’s parliaments to condemn US-British attacks

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni House of Representatives denounced on Tuesday the American, British and Zionist attacks on the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.

In a statement issued by it, the parliament urged various international bodies, including parliamentary unions, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Security Council, to condemn the blatant American-British attacks on Yemen and Palestine.

The parliament considered these attacks to be blatant violations of Yemeni sovereignty and a violation of international laws, conventions, and humanitarian and moral norms.

The statement affirmed that the US, UK, and their allies’ actions against Yemen are not for international navigation freedom but to defend the Zionist entity and to cover up the massacres and genocidal war crimes it has been committing against the Palestinian people for more than 100 days.

The parliament’s statement stated that Sanaa has repeatedly affirmed that international navigation in the Red Sea is safe except for Israeli ships or ships heading to the Palestinian territories.
