Mass ralllies held across Yemen in support of Palestine, rejection of US-UK aggression

SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) -Despite rainy weather, millions of Yemeni people took to the streets in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and other provinces, reiterating their support for the Palestinian people and their rejection of the American-British aggression on Yemen.

Participants in the mass rallies titled, “Steadfast with Palestine, and America is the mother of terrorism”, emphasized their unwavering support for the Palestinian people with all available means, regardless of the size of American threats and designation decision.

“The US decision will not deter us from supporting and standing with the oppressed Palestinian people to face the Zionist terrorism that is committing heinous crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip for over 100 days of killing and destruction,” the participants declared.

They considered the American-British aggression a violation of all laws against the entire Yemeni people and insisted that it would not pass without retaliation and punishment.

The rallies’ statement affirmed that the American-British aggression on Yemen aimed at preventing the Yemeni people from continuing to support Palestine would not weaken their determination but will increase their faith, determination, and steadfastness in the principled stance.

The statement stressed the importance of continuing tirelessly in popular, official, political, media, and general mobilization activities.

It blessed the ongoing military operations carried out by the armed forces against Israeli and American ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, preventing them from entering occupied ports.

The statement called on Arab and Islamic peoples to take a stance against the crimes and siege imposed by the Zionist lobby on the people of Palestine. It urged them to break the barrier of fear and silence imposed by their regimes’ collusion with the Zionist enemy and with America.

“Washington’s decisions to designate individuals or groups according to its interests and policies to serve the Zionist entity will not have any impact on the Yemeni reality. The designation will not deter the Yemeni people from their principled positions on what is happening in Palestine,” the statement read.

The statement emphasized that Yemen’s decision to support the Palestinian people and prevent Zionist and American ships from crossing the Red Sea to Palestinian ports will remain in effect.

“Yemen’s stance will not change regardless of the threats, and the designation will not discourage the Yemeni people from their stance. They confirmed the Yemeni people’s continued military mobilization and development of military capabilities commensurate with the ongoing battle, the statement added.

The statement called on the free people of the world to earnestly continue boycotting American and Israeli goods and companies supporting them, expanding the economic boycott at all levels.
