Official in Sanaa: Rules of engagement have become in Yemen’s hands

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Yasser Al-Houri, Secretary of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, said on Thursday that the rules of engagement are no longer in the hands of the Americans and British but rather in the hands of Yemen, which owns the geography.

Al-Houri confirmed in a statement to Al-Mayadeen TV channel on Thursday that “any attack on Yemen and its sovereignty will be responded to by the Yemeni armed forces in an appropriate manner.”

Regarding Yemen’s role in supporting Gaza, Al-Houri said that those who “tried to test Yemeni capabilities and the Yemeni decision have come to know with certainty that Yemen does what it says.”

Al-Houri pointed out that “Yemen’s war in support of Palestine is a humanitarian war, and anyone who attacks Yemen is against humanity and supports the Zionist entity.”

He pointed out that Yemen has been making sacrifices for the sake of sovereignty, freedom, and independence for 10 years, and what it will offer to Palestine is insignificant in return for any sacrifice.
