Yemeni Parliament condemns suspicious US actions outside framework of int’l law

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament condemned on Thursday the continued US-British aggression that targeted a number of Yemeni provinces and the classification of Ansarallah as a terrorist group.

In a statement today, Thursday, the parliament denounced the reckless and suspicious American actions and movements outside the framework of international law, which confirms that it is the one creating terrorism and chaos in the world.

America is exerting pressure and political blackmail on its opponents and those who oppose the policy of arrogance, orgy, and hegemony that it practices in the region and the world in support of the criminal Zionist entity, the statement said.

The parliament confirmed that the American classification came to cover up the US-British aggression against Yemen, serve the Zionist entity, and hinder Yemen’s role in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people.

The statement pointed out that America declared its aggression against Yemen without any justification and that its classification of the Ansarallah component is not new.

The parliament stated that the armed forces perform their duties and tasks in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen, protecting national sovereignty over the entire territory, islands, and waters.
