SANAA, July 10 (YPA) – The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) on Tuesday approved a number of administrative and regulatory measures aimed to activate the authority’s work.
In its meeting, the SNACC’s board assigned Vice-President of the authority to carry out the president’s tasks in addition to his duties, and the authority’s member and head of civil society sector to do duties of head of the control and inspection sector in addition to her duties.
The board also assigned the authority’s member and head of the investigation and judicial follow-up to carry out tasks of head of the administrative units sector of the state in addition to his duties.
“These decisions were taken to fill vacant positions of the authority’s president and a number of its members who interrupted from their jobs causing obstruction of the authority works,” the board said.
The board stressed the importance of activating the SNACC work, especially in light of the difficult exceptional circumstances the country is going through, to maintain the state institutions that represent the public interest of all Yemeni people.
