Aden people break barrier of fear with angry demonstrations

ADEN, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens went out Saturday in a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people, despite measures to ban demonstrations by factions loyal to the UAE in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

The demonstration called by the “Southern Revolutionary Movement Council” toured the main streets in the Crater and Sheikh Othman areas.

Participants raised banners denouncing the silence of the Arab and Islamic regimes and their complicity with the Zionist entity, which is committing genocidal massacres in Gaza for the fourth month in a row.

The people of Aden broke the barrier of fear imposed on them by preventing demonstrations or organizing protests by the authorities and factions affiliated with the UAE, chanting slogans in Al-Hashemi Square, “With our soul and our blood… we will redeem you, Palestine.”

The participants in the demonstration, from the people of Aden, affirmed their absolute support for the Palestinian people, calling on the Arab peoples to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are being subjected to genocidal massacres by the Zionist entity.

They denounced the economic and service collapse that Aden and the rest of the southern province have been witnessing for the eighth year in a row, and the inability of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition to pay employees’ salaries for last December.
