Israeli air strikes, artillery shelling target southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan. 13 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces launched on Saturday several air strikes and artillery shelling on a number of towns in southern Lebanon amid a wide flight of reconnaissance aircraft.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Zionist entity’s artillery targeted the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouneh, Alma al-Shaab, Tair Harfa, Dhahira, and Aita al-Shaab.

In parallel, Zionist reconnaissance aircraft continued to fly over the villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the western and central sectors, all the way to the outskirts of the Litani River and the city of Bint Jbeil, amidst the launching of flares over Tyre and the sea coast.
