One person killed, another injured in Israeli airstrike on house in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan. 10 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and another injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the town of Kfar Shuba at dawn today.

According to Al-Mayadeen, the Zionist shelling targeted the outskirts of several towns and areas in southern Lebanon, including Naqoura and Jabal Labouneh, on Wednesday morning.

Lebanese Civil Defense said in a post on its X account that “its crews worked from 3: 30 am until 06:00 o’clock this morning, to recover the body of a martyr and put out the fire that broke out after the Zionist targeting of a house in Kafr Shuba .”

Earlier, the enemy army, through its drones, launched a raid on the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura and Jabal al-Labouneh, the Lebanese News Agency reported this morning.

A Zionist drone fired a missile at a house in the town of Kafr Shuba after midnight, killing one person and wounding another.

Tension has flared along the border between Lebanon and Israel amid intermittent exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah. They have been the deadliest clashes since the two sides fought a full-scale war in 2006.
