US’s attempt against Yemen in Red Sea aims to cover Israeli crimes in Gaza: Abdul-Salam

SANAA, Jan. 08 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, said on Sunday America’s efforts to portray Yemen’s attacks against Israeli ships in the Red Sea as a threat to the interests of the world, aimed to cover the Israeli massacres in Gaza.

“The statements of American officials about the developments in the Red Sea as if they were a threat to the interests of the world are an American attempt to divert attention from the Israeli massacres against the people of Gaza, Abdul-Salam said on the X platform.

He added: “The ruling elite in Washington is insisting to go away in supporting Israel against Gaza would blow up the region.”

“America must hold the consequences of its arrogance and realize that its militarization of the Red Sea will not prevent Yemen from continuing to support operations for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza,” Abdul-Salam added.
