Meteorology expects air depression sweeping Yemen

SANAA, Jan. 06 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected Yemen to be affected by an air depression.

The center affirmed, in air forecast on Saturday, that the depression may be accompanied by a cold air mass over the provicnes of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout as well as Marib, and Jawf.

The center pointed to active to strong winds, ranging in speed between 15 and 25 knots, around the Socotra Archipelago, the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the southern coasts.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, the sick people, and those working during the night and early morning about the cold weather.
