Sanaa FM rejects 12-nation coalition’s statement about attacks in Red Sea

SANAA, Jan. 05 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned and rejected completely the statement of the 12-nation coalition led by America regarding the Red Sea’s attacks.

The ministry considered in a news statement in the statement of US-led coalition was attempt to promote a reality and events that have no connection to the truth, noting the double standards policy by the American administration supported by a number of from Western countries came to legitimize and support to the Zionist enemy.

It confirmed that Yemen’s position is firm and that Sanaa will continue its humanitarian and moral duty to prevent all ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the brutal siege on the residents of Gaza is lifted.

The Sanaa’s statement referred to the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in flagrant violation of international law, including the four Geneva Conventions, many United Nations General Assembly resolutions, Security Council resolutions, and the International Court of Justice’s decision, at a time when it did not take any action by Washington and its allies to carry out their humanitarian and moral duty. Indeed, they are the ones who provided the Zionist enemy with the modern weapons to commit the most heinous crimes against Palestinian civilians in all the occupied Palestinian territories.

“The Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, since assuming power in the Republic of Yemen, has declared Sanaa’s keenness and commitment to all international agreements and treaties, including the agreements regulating maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, despite Yemen being subjected to military aggression and a comprehensive blockade, since March 26, Sanaa has continued its international and regional commitment not to expose international navigation and international trade to any risks,” the statement said.

The Sanaa ministry confirmed that the navigation situation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait is completely safe, with the exception of navigation to the ports of occupied Palestine. This is a humanitarian measure par excellence due to the brutal practices committed by the Zionist entity against civilians in Gaza.

It held the American administration and its allies fully responsible for all consequences and repercussions resulting from these threats, which will endanger international peace and security.

The Ministry’s statement emphasized that the position of the Yemeni leadership and people will not change or be dissuaded by any pressure or threats to stop its naval blockade against the Zionist enemy until the aggression stops and food aid and fuel enter the Gaza Strip without obstacles.
