Yemen’s Navy targets CMA CGM TAGE ship after refusing to respond to warnings

SANAA, Jan. 03 (YPA) – Yemen Navy announced on Wednesday it had targeted a CMA CGM TAGE container ship, which was heading to the ports of occupied Palestine.

Spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, said in a statement that the operation came after the ship’s crew refused to respond to contacts from the Yemeni naval forces, including fiery warning messages.

“The Yemeni armed forces stated that they will go on to prevent all ships heading to Israeli ports from navigating in the two Sea of the Red and Arab Bahrain until bringing in the food and medicine in the Gaza need,” Sarie added.

The spokesman reaffirmed the continuation of shipping traffic in the Red and Arab Bahrain to all destinations around the world except the ports of occupied Palestine.

He stressed that any American aggression will not go unanswered or punished, warning the American enemy or others against any attack or measure aiming to protect the commercial ships that go to the Zionist entity.
