Yemen armed forces hold US forces responsible for attack in Red Sea

SANAA, Dec. 31 (YPA) – Yemen’s armed forces announced on Sunday that the American enemy forces attacked 3 boats belonging to the Yemeni Navy while performing their humanitarian and moral duty.
Spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, confirmed in a military statement, 10 members of Yemeni naval forces were killed and missing as a result of the American aggression.

The statement held the American enemy responsible for the crime and its repercussions, calling on the Yemeni people to prepare for all options after the American attack in the Red Sea.
Sarie noted that the movements of the American enemy in the Red Sea to protect Israeli ships will not prevent Yemen from performing its duty in support of Palestine.

The spokesman also called on the rest of the countries not to engage in the dangerous American behavior because of the negative repercussions that will affect everyone.

Brigadier General Sarie explained that a military operation was carried out on a Maersk container ship, which was heading to the ports of occupied Palestine, using suitable naval missiles.

The spokesman reaffirmed that the Yemeni armed forces will continue to prevent the passage of Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine from sailing in the Red Sea, stressing their keenness on maritime traffic to all destinations except the Israeli entity.

He offered his advices all countries not to be drawn into the American plans that aims at igniting the conflict in the Red Sea, stressing that the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to confront any aggression against Yemen and its people.

The operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea come in response to the continued Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. These operations target Israeli ships and those heading towards the occupation ports.
