SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – The head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, arrived on Wednesday, to the Egyptian capital Cairo at the head of a delegation of the movement’s leaders to hold meetings with the director of Egyptian intelligence Abbas Kamel, and discuss ways to cease fire in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners with Israel.
According to Agence France-Presse, the discussions will deal with the cessation of aggression and the war, in preparation for a prisoner exchange deal and ending the siege on the Gaza Strip, the introduction of aid, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Strip, and the return of displaced people to their cities and villages in Gaza and the north of the Strip.
