Two Palestinians injured by Israeli occupation forces in Qalqilya

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 18 (YPA) – At least two young Palestinian men were injured by Israeli gunfire after midnight in the villages of Jayyous and Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya, and one of them was arrested.

According to medical sources in the Red Crescent, a 20-year-old man was wounded by live ammunition in the thigh during the incursion of the occupation forces into the village of Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya, and he was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

The same sources also reported that a young man was wounded by live ammunition in the town of Jayyous, east of Qalqilya, and the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching the scene, and arrested him at a later time, without being able to know the nature of his injury.

In this context, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Habla, south of Qalqilya, deployed soldiers in the neighborhoods of the town, and raided a number of houses.
