Sanaa reveals discussions with international parties on its forces’ operations in Red Sea

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) -The head of Sanaa delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, revealed discussions and communication under the auspices of the Sultanate of Oman are taking place with international parties on the operations of the Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea.

“Sanaa assures everyone that Yemen’s operations are to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and that it cannot stand idly by in the face of the aggression and siege on the Strip, where there is no food, medicine and even potable water had been cut off by the enemy entity cut off,” Mohammed Abdulsalam said in a post on his X account.

He added: “In multiple meetings, we have emphasized that Yemen’s stance with Gaza is not subject to compromise, and the enemy’s ships or those heading to its ports will remain vulnerable to attack until the aggression is stopped, the siege on Gaza is lifted, and humanitarian aid flows continuously to the Strip.  Any real steps that respond to the humanitarian situation in Palestine and Gaza by bringing in food and medicine would contribute to reducing the escalation.”

Mohammad Abdulsalam, has previously revealed that Sana’a, received several communications and messages from active countries confirming their support for the ceasefire in Gaza and their commitment to working to bring humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, and that these countries are “against the expansion of the conflict.”

While Sanaa encourages all positions demanding a ceasefire and the entry of aid, it emphasizes the importance of translating these positions into reality, he stressed.

He confirmed that Yemen’s position would remain firm alongside the Palestinian people until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
