WORLD, Dec. 14 (YPA) – Russian air defenses have destroyed nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Kaluga and Moscow regions, the country’s Ministry of Defense said.
“Air defense forces thwarted another attempt by a drone to approach Moscow (in the Naro-Fominsk urban district). According to preliminary information, there has also been no damage or casualties caused by falling fragments,” Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said
Two hours earlier, Sobyanin announced that another drone attack had been repelled in the vicinity of Naro-Fominsk and said there was no damage or casualties.
Moreover, The Russian Air Defense Troops destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle in the Kaluga Region, Governor Vladislav Shapsha said.
There were no casualties or damage to infrastructure.
“A UAV was shot down by air defenses in the Sukhinichi District last night,” the official wrote on his Telegram channel.
The incident caused no damage to local infrastructure, nor there were any casualties, the governor said, citing information from emergency teams working at the scene.
