Israeli occupation continues to commit more massacres in Gaza

GAZA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces has committed 16 massacres and systematic genocide crimes in areas of the Gaza Strip during the past hours that led to the martyrdom of 196 citizens and the injury of 499 others.

According a press conference to the Ministry of Health spokesman, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, on 68th day from the Israeli brutal aggression the Gaza Strip, the death toll of the aggression rose to 18,608 martyrs and 50,594 injuries.

Al-Qudra pointed out that the occupation forces detained a number of medical personnel, including the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr. Ahmed al-Kahlout, for interrogation under torture and deprived them of food and drink, which led to the injury of 5 of the staff, the wounded and the displaced.

He stated that the occupation tightened the siege and targeting of Kamal Adwan Hospital, shooting towards patient rooms and courtyards, and preventing access to water, food, and electricity, expressing his fear that 12 children in child care would die as a result of leaving them without milk and without life support equipment.

Al-Qudra pointed out that since the beginning of the aggression, the occupation has arrested 38 health personnel, led by Dr. Mohammed Abu Salamiya, the Director General of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, in inhumane conditions of interrogation, torture and starvation.

He stressed that the Israeli aggression against the health system has led to the death of 300 health personnel and the destruction of 102 ambulances.

Al-Qudra’s statement announced that children’s vaccinations have been completely exhausted, which will cause catastrophic health repercussions on children’s health and the spread of diseases, especially among the displaced in overcrowded shelter centers, calling on international organizations to quickly intervene to provide the necessary vaccinations to all areas of the Gaza Strip to prevent the disaster.

He warned that the health and humanitarian situation in shelter centers and places is fatal as a result of the spread of epidemics, infectious diseases, malnutrition, and lack of drinking water and personal hygiene.
