OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 11 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation army released the names of its soldiers who were killed during the ongoing battle in the Gaza Strip
The four soldiers were identified as Sgt. Maj. (res.) Gideon Ilani (35) of the 55th Reserve Paratroopers Brigade’s 2855th Battalion, from the West Bank settlement of Asa’el; Sgt. Maj. (res.) Etay Perry (36) of the 5th Brigade’s 8111st Battalion, from Modiin; Maj. (res.) Eviatar Cohen (42) of the 5th Brigade’s 8111st Battalion, from Kfar Saba; and Maj. Gal Becher (34) of the 36th Division, from Oranit, was killed in a military-related traffic collision in southern Israel.
A third reservist from the 8111st Battalion was seriously wounded, the IDF added.
On the other hand, Gaza Ministry of Interior announced yesterday, Sunday, that the death toll from the Israeli bombing of the Strip had risen to 17,997 and more than 51,000 wounded.
The war on the Gaza Strip has entered its 66th day, as the Israeli occupation forces continue to bomb cities across the Strip, amid violent clashes and international fears of a worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
