GAZA, Dec. 04 (YPA) – At least 50 Palestinians were killed, and hundreds were injured, on Monday evening, in several raids carried out by enemy Zionist aircraft on two schools sheltering displaced people in al-Derg neighborhood of Gaza City.
The Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported that the occupation planes and artillery bombed the Salah al-Din schools of the UNRWA and the martyr Asaad Saftawi in the Derg neighborhood of Gaza City, which led to the martyrdom of at least 50 displaced people and wounding hundreds.
Dozens of martyrs and injured people were transferred from the two schools to the Baptist Hospital in the nearby Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, the agency added.
It pointed out that ambulance crews are facing great difficulties in reaching the two targeted schools to evacuate the martyrs and the injured due to the intensity of artillery shelling in that area.
