GAZA, Dec. 04 (YPA) – About 2,000 Israeli enemy’s soldiers have received psychiatric hospitals since the ground operation against Gaza began on Oct 7, 2023.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority revealed on Monday at least 2,000 male and female soldiers have been suffering from the isolation, silence, anxiety, tension, or general difficult feeling that accompanies the soldiers in such cases, as a result of the war, and they need medical care.
“As part of the procedures for dealing with the matter and the principle of psychological treatment determined by the Army Medical Corps, it is advisable to return the injured soldier to activity and participation as soon as possible, the authority stated.
The sources affirmed that the army has since opened two mental health centers in the south of the country, in addition to a telephone call center staffed by psychologists and psychiatrists who are in reserve service.
