Israeli occupation forces storm Jenin, its refugee camp

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 04 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and its camp at dawn today, sparking fierce clashes with Palestinian gunmen, the Palestine official news agency Wafa reported.

Local sources said that the occupation forces, supported by about 30 military vehicles, stormed the city from several axes, especially the eastern axis, amid heavy gunfire, which led to clashes with the Palestinian resistance fighters.

No injuries have been reported.

The sources added that a reconnaissance aircraft flew over the city and its camp, while the occupation forces deployed their snipers on the roofs of several houses and buildings.

Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank said through its pages on social media platforms that their fighters targeted the occupation forces with explosive devices in the eastern neighborhoods.

The occupation forces withdrew from the city of Jenin after carrying out a campaign of mass arrests in several neighborhoods in the city, concentrated in the eastern neighborhood, Al-Qassam Brigades elaborated.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Burqin, Silat ad-Dhahr, Fandaqumiya, Jaba’, Ojja, Anza, and Arraba, raided many citizens’ homes, searched them, and arrested several citizens.

Moreover, at dawn today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, the village of Jifna, and the Jalazone refugee camp in the north, raided many homes, and arrested several citizens.
