Salvo of Iraqi rockets hits US military base in Syria

BAGHDAD, Dec. 03 (YPA) – Iraq’s Islamic Resistance fired on Sunday a salvo of rockets on the US occupation forces in Kharab Al-Jir military base in the northern countryside of Hasakah in Syria.

The attack came in response to the Israeli occupation’s aggression continuing to target the residential areas and civilians in the Gaza Strip, media sources said.

The sources confirmed that the American base in Kharab Al-Jir airport were targeted with 7 missiles, indicating that “the attack occurred hours after a batch of American reinforcements arrived at the airport.”

The sources revealed an American military cargo plane containing a new batch of logistical equipment and weapons arrived in Syria, coming from the American bases in Iraqi Kurdistan, and landed at Kharab al-Jir military airport in Al-Malikiyah countryside, north of Al-Hasakah province.
