Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 14,854

GAZA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The death toll among the Palestinian civilians in Gaza has risen to 14,854, including 6,150 children and 4,000 women, since the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip began in Oct.7, 2023.

Director of the government media office in Gaza, Salama Marouf, confirmed that the number of wounded has risen to more than 36,000, while the number of missing people has since reached nearly 7,000, 4,700 of whom are children and women.

He explained in a statement that the days of the truce revealed the extent of the large massacre committed by the Zionist occupation against the residents of the Strip.

The statement pointed out that “a third of the population of the Gaza don’t not obtain basic necessities,” noting that “all international institutions are absent from the Strip.”

It stressed the Gaza Strip need to establish a large field hospital, adding that as Al-Shifa Hospital lacks all capabilities and has become unusable.
In a previous statement, Marouf revealed in that hundreds of Palestinians were buried in the places of their killing. “The destruction left by the occupation reflects its desire to make Gaza uninhabitable.”

On Friday, A four-day humanitarian pause, brokered by Qatar and Egypt, went into effect on Friday, temporarily halting Israeli enemy’s onslaught on the Gaza Strip.
