WORLD, Nov. 18 (YPA) -A Russian Il-76 aircraft carrying 30 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip took off from Grozny airport and headed to the Egyptian city of El-Arish, the country’s Ministry of Emergency said in a statement.
“The Russian Ministry of Emergency will deliver another 30 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip. To carry out this mission, a ministry aircraft took off from Grozny airport to the Egyptian city of El-Arish. The humanitarian shipment will be delivered to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, who will supervise its transport to the Gaza Strip,” the statement read.
The ministry explained that the airlift was organized for the delivery of humanitarian aid, under the guidance of Russian President Vladimir Putin and commissioned by Minister of Emergency Alexander Korenkov.
The new aid list includes sleeping mats, pillows, personal hygiene products, food, and baby food.
