PA security forces assault activists participating in march in support of Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 18 (YPA) – Palestinian security services arrested activists who participated in a demonstration in Ramallah on Friday afternoon, Palestinian Information Center reported, citing local sources.

According to local sources, the authority’s security services arrested many activists after they participated in a march that began after Friday prayers in Ramallah in support of Gaza and the resistance.

A human rights platform that follows political arrests reported that among the detainees were students at Birzeit University, Samir Ayman, Ahmed Hamad, and Muhammad Al-Araj.

Family sources reported that the security services opened fire on the freed prisoner, Diaa Zaloum, after assaulting participants in the march.

Video clips showed security personnel in civilian clothing assaulting detainees.
