OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army arrested 85 Palestinians at dawn on Thursday, bringing the total number of detainees in the occupied West Bank to 2,735 since October 7, 2023.
The club stated in a statement that “the occupation forces arrested at least 85 citizens between Wednesday night and Thursday dawn, from cities and towns in the West Bank, including East Quds,” and that among the detainees was a girl.
Separate parts of the West Bank, including the city of East Quds, are witnessing raids and incursions into villages and towns by the Israeli occupation army, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and shooting bullets and gas bombs at Palestinians.
Arrest operations have escalated in the West Bank since October 7, after the Israeli occupation launched a deadly war on the Gaza Strip, during which it destroyed neighborhoods above their residents, leaving tens of thousands of civilians dead and wounded.
