GAZA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – The number of martyrs due to the interruption of services and electricity at the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza increased on Monday to 20 people, including six premature babies.
“Six premature babies, nine wounded and other patients in the intensive care department died today due to a power outage from vital organs that keep them alive”, Palestine Today Agency quoted the director of the complex, Mohammed Abu Salmiya, in a press statement.
Abu Salmiya added that “the total number of deaths in the hospital has reached 20 people, including six premature babies,” since the beginning of the siege of the hospital by the Zionist enemy forces three days ago.
He noted that the deaths were also as result of the “refusal of the enemy army to deliver fuel to the hospital”.
