Israeli occupation kills almost 160 children every day in Gaza: WHO

GAZA, Nov. 07 (YPA) – The Zionist occupation army kills approximately 160 Palestinian children every day, which is no less than 0.5% of the population of Gaza.

Al-Mayadeen TV quoted the World Health Organization (WHO)’s spokesman, Christian Lindmeier, as saying, there is a shortage of medical supplies and fuel in the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli aggression continues for more than a month.

“There is currently very little remaining fuel, and that anesthetics are not available in many hospitals,” Lindmeier added, noting that there is also a shortage of emergency supplies to treat wounds resulting from bombing and other traditional diseases, not related to war, such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and dialysis, which requires electrically operated equipment.

Concerning the problems created by the power outage, he continued that there are more than 180 births daily in Gaza sometimes need to enter incubators, and these incubators operate with electricity, stressing “these need a safe space.”

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the victims of the Zionist aggression against Gaza had risen to 10,328 martyrs, including 4,237 children and 2,741 women, and 25,959 wounded.
