ABYAN, Nov. 04 (YPA) – The UAE-backed factions launched a campaign of raids on a number of houses, during which they arrested a number of pro-Islah supporters in the coastal city of Shaqra in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
The “Southern Transitional” factions carried out a campaign of raids on the homes of Islah party loyalists in the coastal city of Shaqra in search of what they called Wanted on charges of communicating with the party and took a number of them to one of its own prisons in the city.
The arrests of Islah elements came in the context of tensions between Saudi Arabia and the UAE in Aden, Lahj and Hadramout provinces.
