Israeli army admits 25 soldiers killed in Gaza clashes

GAZA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – About 25 of Israeli soldiers have been killed and 16 others were wounded during the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip for the past 24 hours, the Zionist occupation army said in a statement on Wednesday.

The occupation army stated that 11 of its soldiers were killed by a guided missile fired at their military vehicle north of Gaza, noting that most of them were from the elite “Givati” Brigade.

Earlier in the day, the occupation announced in separate statements that four more soldiers had been killed during the clashes in Gaza, adding the death toll of its soldiers in Gaza and rose to 14.

For his part, “Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant” said that the killing of soldiers in the Gaza battles was a “harsh and painful blow.” While the newspaper “Israel Hayom” reported that “the Israeli army is waging a harsh war with the Palestinian resistance inside the Gaza Strip.”

On Tuesday, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman, Abu Ubaida, confirmed that Al-Qassam fighters destroyed 24 occupation army vehicles during the ground battles taking place in the Strip.
