Attack targets US “Al-Shaddadi” base in Syria

WORLD, Oct. 29 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it targeted a military base, housing US forces, in the northeast of Syria, with two drones.

“The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base “Al-Shaddadi” south of Al-Hasakah in Syria, with two drones, hitting their targets directly,” the resistance said in a statement on Sunday.

At dawn today, media sources confirmed that the US base in the Omar oil field, east of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, was bombarded which led to explosions inside the base.

Yesterday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its mujahideen targeted US forces at the Al-Tanf base, which is located on the tri-border triangle between Syria, Iraq, and Jordan, with two drones, achieving direct hits.

According to Al-Mayadeen, “a missile strike also targeted a US base at Kharab al-Jir in Syria.”
